When wanting to style these shoes (yes, I know they're not for everyone), I had a certain vision in mind. First, street style came to mind and I wanted the shoes to be the sole focus of the outfit. Before I went for the girly + sneakers route, I wanted to challenge myself to another style. I dug through my pants and was determined to make this look work. I really love how both the color of the sweater and pants are not exactly the same but they play off each other really nicely. The shoes contrast against them so nicely and I loved this outfit! It was very magazine street style-ish in my opinion and I was digging it. So here's one way to pair your fave pair of sneakers, I'll show you another way soon! What do you think? Enjoy the look and happy Friday!

P.S. Are we loving the new wide angle lens?! ;D

Silver Dollar

The moment I actually put on this dress and saw what I looked like in it, I was feeling myself! I had bought this dress for the sole purpose of wearing it out; GNO or any other type of club occasion. But then I thought, I have to find another way to wear this besides for a night out. So here I tamed it down a bit for a more less club-is feel. I paired it with some low heels instead of high and add the cinch at the waist like I always do, well because a cinch at the waist never hurt nobody. Now my outfit went from clubby to brunch vibes or early dinner vibes. I'm really trying to challenge myself to be able to rewear and reuse a lot of my clothing before I go out and buy more. So here's to me trying! I definitely will be trying to dress this even more casually in the future. What do you think? Enjoy the look and happy Wednesday!

Floral Staple

Aside from your typical black and white staple dresses that you need, you also need a nice floral dress. This adds pizazz to your closet and some print; which is nice when you're tired of the monochrome. Sure, you can wear a dress once by itself and let it be the main show but there are ways to add to it so you can wear it again without feeling like you're wearing the same exact thing! Accessorize! And I mean that not in the typical way but the clothing way. Have a cute dress but want to wear it differently? Belt it! And don't stop there but add some kind of jacket or sweater on top of a different color to build contrast. Now your dress went from "you wore that already" to "oooh cute outfit!" Simple enough right? What do you think? Enjoy the look and happy Friday!
