Flower That Bloomed

When Spring is upon us but it's still a little windy; you learn to layer! Or at least dress a bit warmer. This rust orange color is one of my favorites to have in my closet and so I love playing around with it during the brighter months. Because although it's considered a fall color, it definitely can be worn year round. It was a sunny but cool day so this white turtleneck was the perfect top to bring out with these pants. The boots gave me length while the bag gave me Spring. I loved how this outfit turned out because not only was it comfy but it made a statement and would definitely be something I could wear casually. What do you think? Enjoy the look and happy Wednesday!

Live in Color

Taking it back to the basics and liking it; casual that is. I do take myself as someone who can wear it all so when I find myself on opposite sides of the spectrum, as far as girly girl one day to casual tomboy the next, I like it; versatility. This top and sweater were both from my mom's closet from back in the day and I had to jump on it to put them in mine. Gives a whole new meaning to vintage and "thrifted". To me, these pieces just had the perfect feel of 90's nostalgia so of course I wanted them. I decided to keep it casual as I would back in my 90's days so I paired it with some good ol' Levi's and converse. Sometimes the oldie but goodie outfits are the best, don't ya think? Enjoy the look and happy Friday!

Style and Print

Whoever said that you can't mix prints, lied. I absolutely love doing this because it seems that I only get better as I become more daring and care less about what others think. The mixing of prints somehow pulls together when you're doing it right. I think that as long as you're mixing the same colors tones that are similar in color family, the possibilities are endless. I'm wearing this cute ribbed dress from Shoedazzle that is perfect for the Spring activities we are hoping to be able to participate in as soon as things blow over! Instead of keeping the tone dark, I spiced it up and added these cute printed booties for another pop of color. The matching of the hat was perfect as it plays off well with the booties. What do you think? Are you a fan of mixing prints? Enjoy the look and happy Wednesday!

Pleated

An outfit that I didn't expect to like but ended up loving! I'm not the biggest fan of leather but this skirt had caught my eye. It was the fit of it and the pleats that had me sold. I always thought that leather was definitely a staple piece to have in your closet as well. This skirt can be worn so many different ways and rotated throughout the seasons so here I am using it for Spring in the meantime. I could've paired it with a pop of red but I went neutral instead to keep the skirt focused. The little heels were just for more femininity. I love how neutral yet intriguing this outfit is. What do you think? Enjoy the look and happy Friday!
