Simple is More

Less is more. Or sometimes, simple is just plain better. I really loved the simplicity but statement of this outfit. The neutral color of the turtleneck played perfectly against the black of the jeans. (Which by the way are the comfiest jeans ever!) The heels are what added that perfect touch of pizazz that would otherwise make this outfit a bit more casual. And of course, my statement of a statement Gucci belt was the final touch. I'm enjoying the simplicity of an outfit more and more. The older I get the happier I feel when I learn how to rewear certain pieces different way. Feels like I'm making the most out of my clothes and also saving. (adult probs.) What do you think, are you a fan of a more simple outfit? Enjoy the look and happy Friday!

Before I start, does this not give you lemonade Hold Up vibes from Beyonce? All I need is my bat! Let me just say that putting on a dress as fabulous as this, with the wind blowing and the dress moving perfectly, definitely makes you feel some type of way. I think a flowy long dress is a much needed staple in your closet. Put that on your "to buy" list and thank me later. I love the puffy sleeves and the button down detail and it pairs perfectly with just about any print but especially snake skin. Now, where's my bat? haha! Enjoy the look and Happy Wednesday!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

These were in fact shot on a Saturday but there's something about this outfit and the way the Sun hits it just right that reminds me of a gorgeous Sunday morning. (Excuse me while I'm in my feels.) Anyway, I'm slowly learning that the best way to revamp or rewear some of your summer clothes is layer! It's the easiest (and cheapest) way to also make some of your old clothes feel like new. I loved this color palette I created with these two items. This jumper is definitely a Summer color/vibe but I toned it down with a cream turtleneck. It definitely adds warmth and helps bring it to a more neutral appearance. I put on my statement hat from Lack of Color just to add more to the natural palette. The shoes were also a nude color and somewhat added a relaxed feel since they're flat. Voila, instantly new outfit thanks to my layers! What do you think, are you into layers? Enjoy the look and happy Friday!
