Springful Wishing

Lately it just seems as though the weather can't get it together and act accordingly to the season. But you know what? I'm still going to dress it because it's time! I'm here for the white looks and pops of color, it get's me excited for Summer. I scored with this outfit because this overall dress was under $25 at Forever 21 and this top I got off Amazon for $10! Ya'll know I'm about saving money and looking cute while doing so. I feel like white makes a statement and definitely looks crisp and clean. What do you think? Happy Friday and enjoy the look!

Notorious

I'd rather be thought of as strong than weak. And that's for all aspects of myself. There's so many different ways that us women are suppressed and made to believe that we can't or aren't allowed to be outspoken or strong and frankly, I've never been one to agree with that. Pretty sure it was the way I was raised and the way I grew up that I was always sure to be myself and stand up for myself and what I believe in. As long as my truth was honest and the right thing to do.

The woman I'm wearing on my shirt has such significance to what I stand for because she too in my eyes is a "boss ass b*tch". Her name is Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She became the second female justice of the U.S Supreme Court and she also served as the director of the Women's Rights Project of the American Civil Liberties Union during the 1970s. Especially now more so than ever, it is so important for us WOMEN to make sure we make statements and make sure our voices are heard; to make sure that we don't stand for anything but justice for ourselves and our future.

If you don't stand for something, you stand for nothing. And that is especially true in this moment where us women are threatened by the choices and votes of men who don't even know the slightest of our bodies. Let us not feel inferior by these outrageous actions but let this build our strength to allow us to come back stronger and not take anything less of OUR CHOICES when it comes to our bodies. We will not go back in time, let's make that certain.
