Clarisonic Mia 2 Skincare Review

This might sound appalling but I was never really interested too much in my skincare up until about this year. I was one of those girls that used to go to bed with my makeup on. (I know, so so wrong!) But I took it upon myself this year to start giving my skin some extra TLC and have been consistent about it up until this day. I usually did the whole soap and water and thought that was enough but I wanted more of a deep down cleanse. I've been trying out the Clarisonic Mia 2 device for over a month now everyday and let me just start by saying, bye bye blackheads on my nose!

I usually wash my face in the morning with bar soap to remove my makeup and then go the extra mile and use the Clarisonic in the shower with the daily cleanser to get down to the nitty gritty. The facial gentle cleansing brush pulsates and really cleanses my skin of the dirt I might've missed the first time around. I've been breaking out with under the skin whiteheads and the Clarisonic has been helping me so much with that! I usually have visible blackheads on my nose and it drives me crazy and when using the device, I see a difference on my nose including less blackheads. The blackheads on my nose have always been a problem and so I was really excited to see the difference after using it. Now, the Clarisonic is part of my face routine and before bed I also use Vitamin E oil on the dark spots/scars to help diminish the dark color quicker.

I was really excited to receive the device to review because I've heard such good things about it and I'm so happy that it's now something that helps with my skin. Ladies, take it from me and take care of your skin while you're young! It's really important to wash away all the bad gunk that it collects throughout the day. With the holidays coming up it's definitely something you should treat yourself with or get it for someone else! Luckily, I have a coupon code for you to use in case you want to take the next best step toward better skin: HERCAMPUS and use it at

As always, let me know what you think! What are some of your skincare routines that would be good for me to try? Let me know!

Motivation Monday

They say "anything worth having is worth working for." and that couldn't be anymore true. Ever wonder why for some reason some things that you'd like to accomplish or achieve take longer than others? You've been working at it for so long and sometimes I'm sure you feel like giving up. But when it's something you enjoy and you can't picture being without, you have a hard time letting go; that's called passion. It's a fire built within us that burns for something that we've found in this world and we enjoy doing. Not everyone finds their niche so if you've found yours, be thankful! When you find something that you're willing to work for to have, that's when you know you have something good. You have to remember though that anything worth having never comes easy. It takes work and patience to achieve what you want. If it was easy, would it even be worth it to have in the first place?
The time and effort you put into something is what's going to set you apart from the rest. This is how the Universe decides if you're worthy enough to have it. If you really wanted something, you would do anything to have it. Nothing would or should stop you. That is why it's up to you to put in the work. I know times get tough and I know you might feel like giving up but you must remember why you started in the first place. When you're finally where you want to be, you're going to look back and know that you deserve every inch of this success because you'll remember how hard you fought to get there. The time and effort you put in is what's going to determine how fast you get there. You'll look back and see how far you've come and you'll be proud; proud of yourself for sticking it out and proud to know that you're self made. If it's really worth it, you'll get there no matter what. Nothing will get in your way if you believe it to be yours. Passion never ceases!

Through The Grapevine

How nice is it to be able to wear a pretty white dress with some boots and it be socially appropriate?! I'll tell you, it's really nice! I scored this awesome white maxi dress from Target for $8! Yes, total score and I was making sure that I was walking out of the store with it! To me, a white loose maxi dress just screams boho, carefree, and beautiful all into one. Everyone needs a white maxi dress in their life. I kept the rest of the look simple with this colorful choker from Boohoo and some booties to amp up the look for Fall. I hope you enjoy the look and happy Friday!

On The Green

This is the last time you'll ever see my long hair again! Alas, I'm finally making my way to my older outfit pictures so bare with me. The thing about Southern California is it can be Fall and still be 90 degrees outside so I'm trying to dress according to the season but not trying to die of heat stroke at the same time. I decided to lightly layer and go for a white long line blazer to accompany this t-shirt dress from Forever 21. The green color is always a good idea for the Fall season and what better way to bring it out then with some cheetah print booties. These three colors are all neutral but definitely blend well together. I do hope to wear this t-shirt dress again and hopefully in a much warmer manner. Enjoy the look!
