Motivation Monday!

Happy Monday! How many of you are excited for a short week at work? Not to mention the feast that awaits us on Thursday. We seriously are so lucky to have what we do; remember that. But before we start getting into being thankful, I wanted to go in a different direction. Let's talk about ourselves. Our own self is in face the person that matters most. The way we treat ourselves is the reflection of how we are going to treat others. Now don't you think for a second that what you've been going through, good or bad, is for no reason. I'm here to tell you that everything indeed does happen for a reason. All the experiences we go through, the people we meet, the problems we endure is all for a reason. There is actually a lesson in everything we experience. It is entirely up to us to figure out the lesson, and if we have enough patience and are smart enough, we'll learn from it and grow. I know sometimes life can be hard. But if life was always easy, would it make the good times worth it? Think about it, if everything always came easy, we'd be less prone to appreciating what we had. It's like when you finally get something you really want and you're super happy about it; it's because you know how hard it was to get there and now you feel a sense of accomplishment or achievement.
I know it can be hard to believe, especially if one bad thing after another keeps occurring in your life. But you have to look at it this way, the more struggles you endure, the stronger and smarter you become. It's like God's ways of trying to make you stronger and testing you to see how well you do. You have to prove to yourself that you are worthy of what you want and that you'll do anything to get there. You have to learn and prepare to get what you've been hoping for. We have to realize that life is ALL about learning and growing. Nothing ever stays the same and nothing ever stays perfect. But as long as you take it easy on yourself, lighten up, and realize that you're doing just fine, you'll make it that much closer to enjoying it. Just know that once the struggle passes, you'll come out much stronger and that much more knowledgeable. You're going to use what you know to your advantage and it's going to keep you from making mistakes in the future. With mistakes, come learning and growing, and with that becomes strength and endurance. These are key qualities that will help mold you into a stronger character and prepare you for the future. Don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing the best you can.
HAPPY MONDAY!
