Motivation Monday!

Happy Monday! I can't help but say it, Thanksgiving is almost here! Then after that Christmas?! Really? This year is almost over. And as fast as this year is passing by, I keep thinking back to see if I'm ready for what's to come. I question myself, to ask if I've accomplished all that I wanted to this year. Does anybody else feel this way? Lately, I've really been noticing on how everyone feels like social media shouldn't reflect of what kind of person you really are. More recently, I've been seeing many agree that social media, its likes, comments, and followers, isn't what defines your talent. At this point in the year I feel like as people we should really start to make this matter. I'm human, so yes, I compare myself to other "more successful" bloggers than me. I think to myself "they have more likes than I, is there something I'm doing wrong?" And I know that I'm not the only one that does that. But I think we should all realize that each and every one of our journeys is different and what happens for us will be for us; and if something doesn't happen for you but for someone else doesn't mean that it's cause you aren't good enough, it just means there is something else meant to come for you. DON'T GIVE UP.
Due to all this social media stress I've been contemplating on my blog and if I think it's been successful. I'll have my pity party and then realize that I love doing this way too much and I don't have the heart to give up. It kind of just amps me up even more and motivates me to TRY AGAIN and do even better. Putting in more effort and trying new things is what's going to get me to where I want to be. It's kind of like a reality check. The fact that you haven't given up is successful in itself. Sure, you may feel like you're struggling but you have to see that most people would give up before they even begin and that is what separates you from the rest. Your constant will to keep at it. Whether you crawl to get things done or run, you're still going! Remember that your constant will to try again even after what you feel like is failure is what's going to get you further and closer to your goal. Refuse to listen to others or what social media has conformed to feeling like we're not good enough based on our likes and followers. As long as you refuse to accept failure, you're still in it to win it and that's what counts!
