Motivation Monday!

So this is it, here we are, at the end of August. The year is more than half gone and we have about 3 more months left for this year until we start a new one. Can you honestly say to yourself that you've accomplished your goals that you wanted to get done this year? Or have you found yourself in a constant rut that has left you questioning yourself as well as the things that have surrounded you? Life has a way of giving us just what we need, whether we see the purpose in the beginning or the end of the lesson. Anything we get in life was meant to come our way, whether we like to believe it or not and it's always ALWAYS for a reason! If you've found yourself in certain situations this year and it had you questioning whether or not you were on the right track, fear not, because if it came to you, it's because the Universe knew you were able to handle it.
Most of the time, our rough patches deter us from continuing our belief in thinking of what we want. It leaves us feeling and thinking negative, and overall gives us a thought that maybe things aren't meant for us. I want you to know that that is what the enemy would like us to think. The negativity in life wants us to get distracted and get caught up in the negative aspects so that we forget all about the perseverance and hard work it takes to get where want to be. Instead of getting frustrated and think "Why me?" ask yourself "What is the lesson in this?" Most of the time, we are meant to encounter certain trials to help us stretch our faith even further and to teach us crucial lessons that we need in order to help our character move forward. Believe that the tribulation is there for a reason and that you are meant to surpass this not only with a learning experience but an even greater belief that your desire is just around the corner. Keep the faith and keep going!
HAPPY MONDAY!

Bean Boozled Challenge VIDEO!

Whoever said that making YouTube videos was easy was a liar. Between blogging, working a full time job and trying to film, it's been tough trying to find a balance. But nevertheless, I will always try my best to keep up with my videos. Which is why I'm so excited to have finally edited this video and got it up! Maddie and myself, along with our friend Melissa are back with another challenge video! I was so excited to do this challenge because I knew it was going to turn out funny! I hope you enjoy the video!

So let me know what you think, did you enjoy the video? What challenge should I do next? Leave a comment below, I'd love to know what you think! Be sure to subscribe to my:

A Walk in The Park

Are there ever some days where you just throw on whatever and realize that it actually came out pretty good? This was one of those moments. I have tons and tons of shoes and I realized that I've probably never worn this pair from Vans before. So there I go trying to challenge myself yet again and literally step out of my comfort zone. This isn't necessarily an outfit I would typically choose to blog about but I felt with the different colors and elements included here, it's actually not too shabby. I think that as a blogger, you should know how to dress well but also know how to dress casually and look damn good doing it. Not to toot my own horn, but ah *toot toot*. These white shorts contrast perfectly against the green and blue of the two tops. I'd say I gained myself an A+ on the casual wear exam. This outfit was well put together and perfect for a walk in the park; with an LA view of course.

Golden Hour

I knew summer was coming to an end when I went to Target the other day and saw the long lines full of customers back to school shopping. As sad as it may sound, I know this LA heat will be staying awhile. Fear not ladies, we still have a good month or two to rock our last bit of shorts we have left. These cute floral pair are from H&M and the main reason why I got them was for the comfort. I've gotten this same kind in different colors and they've become my go to shorts. I took a chance on the floral print because I thought it was a cute way to implement simplicity, but still not feel too basic in my book. On this hot day I had to reach for a loose fitting, weightless shirt so I grabbed this halter style top from Forever 21. To seal the deal I paired the outfit with some cute white flats!
